My journey

Originally, I came from a background in sustainability science and pursued a PhD focused on global sustainability challenges, particularly related to consumption. During my academic journey, I realised that my true passion was working with students; that’s where I felt most alive. I knew something was missing, so I decided to follow a long-held dream. While continuing my PhD, I began a coaching and counselling education, which quickly became my passion project. It felt like coming home.

The energy I experienced working with clients and supporting people on their personal development journey was in stark contrast to how I felt pursuing my academic career. After four years, I made the bold decision to leave academia and fully dedicate myself to coaching and counselling.

I find immense joy in working with individuals and teams, forming meaningful connections, and helping others do the same in their personal and professional lives. I’m deeply intrigued by anything related to human interaction, relationships, and communication. The two years of coaching and counselling training were eye-opening, revealing the path I truly wanted to pursue. I hope to support others in discovering their own paths as well.

As an expat in an international relationship who has studied, worked, and lived within an international community for the past 10 years, I understand the unique challenges and opportunities that come with living and connecting across cultures. Among other challenges, I’m passionate about helping others navigate this complex terrain.

A significant theme in my life is finding a sense of purpose and meaning, while balancing the desire for independence and freedom with the need for deep connection with others and the natural world. These are just some of the topics I’m passionate about, and I would love to support you on your own journey.
